About me
I’m a first-year Ph.D. student at MIT studying American politics and statistics. I’m broadly interested in the intersection between political science, public policy, and statistical and computational methods. I’m advised by Devin Caughey.
Previously, I wrote, made graphics, and analyzed data for the New York Times Upshot (first as a member of the 2024-25 Fellowship Class and then as a graphics editor for a few months before grad school). I covered politics, sports, pop culture and more.
I graduated from Boston University in 2024 with a B.A. in Computer Science and Statistics and a minor in Public Policy Analysis. I’ve interned for data science research groups, a civic tech startup , and a baseball team. I am also the founder and technical director of Umpire Scorecards.
My brother Noah is a Ph.D. student in theoretical computer science at Carnegie Mellon University.
